'Unraveling Unto Each Other' (video and sculpture) (2007)
wooden spool rack, found vintage thread spools; approximated 10" x 15"

An ambient sculpture that is a metaphor for network data exchange. On a thread storage rack, sets of two spools are arranged sporadically based on the number of users within a determined group. Each of the two spools would represent one user’s network activity and would share a long common piece of thread. Based on the input and output of data transferred, this thread would unravel back and forth between the spools.
